Passionate Faces

All the faces yesterday was anger
stormed by blinding wind
And what passion felt be so different
by all the different blend.
Storming wind I heard came before
the storm touched me
Racial tension I still feel, still here
along this rushing sea.
What change might yet come amidst
the faces, passionate faces.

All faces blending together, tho'
colors blending my dream
Courage and legacy yet carried on
by whatever changing stream.
Faces, faces, on a quest for love,
so deeply lost without a smile
What dream I yet dream, what
passion touch my child.
Stiller tho' wind has blown amidst
the faces, passionate faces.
